A Chance for you to be in an Indie film and TV cast or crew etc. by Walt Barrett

   I am trying to put together a tight little group of about 20 people who are interested in film making (Actors, directing, sound, writing and crew etc.)  in the Rhode Island area.  I'm willing to teach people what I know and also learn from others experiences. A non compete, non disclosure agreement is required regarding all of our intellectual property.

  We are finally making a full length Indie film in the Rhode Island area now that I am feeling better.

I have a very close friend and associate in India. He is on Facebook and his name is Kohinoor Roy. He is very talented in music, writing, film making, animation, and all around movie production. We have been discussing making a film together for several years now and yesterday after a very long discussion on Skype we have decided to make a full length feature film together in 2014. In the meantime I will be shooting many of the scenes that do not require actors at this time. We will also use Chroma key to add in live actors. The important thing to note is that we will have a cast of about 16 actors total and that we are not looking for big name $$ actors unless they volunteer, lol!  Some parts require very few lines, but we are offing a chance at good exposure and credits.  We will also tutor some people for part time crew positions if they are interested.

We could stat off by meeting either once a week or twice a month to get organized ahead of time for more serious work.  We also have plans for several 30 minute situation comedies for cable. I cannot do all of the writing myself.  I do think that the ideas will fly.  Some open discussions would be very helpful to start.

I will talk to anyone from our area who is interested in acting or crewing, writing directing, sound etc.

Because of our shooting schedule we want all local people and will get them from the RI area. We are going to make this work!
